How you can bid at Kerleys Auctions

We offer our customers 3 convenient ways of bidding at our auctions; If you have any questions regarding bidding, don’t hesitate to contact our staff on 5223 1533 for assistance.

PHONE
We offer live phone bidding on all lots expected to reach a minimum $200 at auction. A member of staff will call you 2 lots in advance and, with your instruction, bid on your behalf at the auction. If you miss or are unable to take our call, we shall be required to forfeit any bidding on your behalf. Staff will only attempt to reach you 3 times before concluding a forfeit. There are no additional fees or charges for phone bidding. Telephone Bids must be organised at least 24 hours prior to the auction

ONLINE
Kerleys offer live online bidding through our partners at Invaluable. Online bidding allows you to bid via the internet in real time just as if you were in our showroom. Please register for this service at least 24 hours prior to the auction to ensure you do not miss out. Please note that online bidding is powered by Invaluable.com and thus will incur an additional 5% premium on successful lots. To learn more, please click here.

​ABSENTEE BIDS
Absentee Bidding is another seamless solution if you are unable or not wishing to attend an auction in person. An Absentee Bid should be set at the maximum amount you wish to bid on the lot/s you are interested in. Should any lot be knocked down at an amount lower than your maximum bid, the lot will be sold to you for the lesser hammer price. Absentee Bids must be received at least 24 hours prior to the auction. You may fill out our online absentee form or complete one in person at reception during our open hours.
